A question of cross compatibility.

I have a 90LX, 4 door, 5 speed, all power windows and locks.

I need to replace the underdash harness. Am I limited to a 4 door LX harness or will others work?

 

I couldnt see why a dx would be any different.

 

dx has roller windows doesnt it ?
not sure if thats integrated into the under dash harness

 

It's integrated at the fuse box under the dash. Power windows should have it's own separate little wiring harness that then plugs into the back of the fuse box. Works the same way with the Si power sunroof. If you notice on the fuse box's for 88-91's, they all have the same setup regardless whether the options are in the car or not.

would it be possible to just swap out for a da teg one?? like one from a GS with power everything?
