d15b cam and d16z6 cams are exactly the same. I read the specs sheets a wile back and point for point there the same.
the only reason the d15b makes more powa is the better R/S ratio and the bump in compression.
P.S im drunk and this ---- still dont make no sense.

"Believe me, don't believe me, i really don't care...it's your money, not mine. But i pulled the stock cam out of my JDM D15B and replaced it with the 59300, and then took the cam to my buddy who is a mechanic at VW to have it measured with a dial caliper. Here's what we got:"
P.S. this is not me i pulled it from another forum.
Primary-
Base: 1.265"
Lobe Lift (from base bottom to lobe peak): 1.415"
Lift at the cam: .150"
Secondary-
Base: 1.265"
Lobe Lift (from base bottom to lobe peak): 1.425"
Lift at the cam: .170"
VTEC-
Base: 1.280"
Lobe Lift (from base bottom to lobe peak): 1.503"
Lift at the cam: .223"
Exhaust-
Base: 1.300"
Lobe Lift (from base bottom to lobe peak): 1.499"
Lift at the cam: .199"
Then checked it against the measurements in my Haynes manual:
For the D16Z6(lobe lift numbers only)-
Primary- 1.4134" vs. my 1.415"
Secondary- 1.4250" vs. my 1.425"
VTEC- 1.5003" vs. my 1.503"
Exhaust- 1.4964 vs. my 1.499"
Then compared the numbers to the cam card for the 59300:
Primary-
Lift at the cam: .189" vs. my .150"
Secondary-
Lift at the cam: .194" vs. my .170"
VTEC-
Lift at the cam: .277" vs. my .223"
Exhaust-
Lift at the cam: .236" vs. my .199"
Differences between Z6, 59100, and 59300:
Duration @.050" Gross Lift
Z6- 208/192 384/370
59100- 214/210 440/400
59300- 220/216 456/428
Ok i found this info i wile back. Sorry for drunk posting. I dont even remember getting on last night. I found the specs.
