Ok I've been following this thread for years and similar threads on other sites. I'm finally ready to make a start however I hope you guys can help me out.
First of all my car is a 1989 Honda CRX 16 1.6i euro spec with a factory DOHC ZC. The engine was just rebuilt with: stock internals stage 2 web cams Cometic metal head gasket aem adjustable cam gears 4 to 1 header OBX loud muffer MSD 8mm wires JET chips ecu 12lb fly wheel etc. So hears the plan I just got my ITB from a CBR929 and I plan to use a stock ZC intake manifold and cut it and machine it as an adapter plate for the ITB. Questions 1) which injector position is better the stock on the old manifold or the one on the ITB. 2) can I use both sets as in 8 injectors if I use an engine management. If so which management would you suggest? 3) If I use both sets where will I use for vacuum source. I hope to get started in a couple of weeks I need to get the doner intake manifold however that may be 3 weeks away. I'll try and post some pics of the progress. |
