intersted.. not right this second but would liek to know cost.. now when you say port the base your basically saing instead of tapering down to 42mm it would be 45mm all the way or am i misunderstanding?

Yes stock they taper down to 42mm like the 100gsxr no bueno. Ported they will be a staright through 45mm at the back side. 53mm inlet

quick question...what intake manifold do i need to used when doing itb's on a single? my single is 2 injectors can i use my stock one because i was looking at it and it looks like it might work..well if anything ill experiment a little..

I would think you would need a mpfi manifold. Not a dpfi, and you will also need the ecu and all the rest of the ---- that goes allong with it.

wouldnt waste my personal time on a dual point......though it would be interesting. two Y pipes with a throttle body on each. with a slightly larger injector....

like i said...i would waste my time on it....but it would make for some good fab work

Alright this might sound stupid but would carburated itb's work?

And if not why? because me and a friend have been pondering this for some time and can't figure this out.

d16z6 manifold. Runners perfect alignment. New fuel rail studs welded in place. Ported/fully blended.


Cbr 929 units ported/bored to 42mm
cbr 1000 velocity stacks
