Default Installing Coil overs...

Allright guys, im just looking for a little info from someone whos done this before. I drive a 00 Civic Dx that handles like complete ---- and almost scares me to drive over 80. Im planning on getting a set of Ground Control coil overs $244, Tokiko blue shocks $244 (set) and Skunk2 upper control arms $190(dont want any other camber kits).

I checked my local shop and they wanna charge me $1000 for parts and install, so Im doing this one myself.....Im not a complete n00b and have done some swaps in the past.

Is there anything i need to watch out for or any tips when installing these to make it easier, tools, etc

I plan on replacing all bushings I touch so im just gonna take a pickle fork and a hammer to the old parts....but reassembling...is this just gonna bolt right in?

youll probably need a spring compressor... BUT
check into a set of KYB agx shocks! They are adjustable and i got a set for $300 shipped. much better than non-adjustable blues. You'll love the ground controls.

So whats the real benefit of adjustable shocks.....

I mean im not autocrossing on the weekends and probably wouldnt be toying with it much, but once I get my sway bars in it would be nice to dial that ---- it....

Is it worth it? I mean that sounds like a damn good price.

make sure you get it aligned; make the front control arms centered to make it a little easier on the guy that does it

True, both of mine are snapped off, still roll all day on em though Of course it's worth it. Not only will your car look better but it won't handle like a stock FWD car anymore, and those are the worst kind. You're going to want to avoid potholes from now on though.
