Re:ima newb :P
well, i paid for my hood problem. only $60 for a new latch and labor. they unscrewed the latch from the whatever, and the hood opened with the latch still attached. the guy had to use a mini crowbar type tool to pry the latch open with the cable pulled, the cable was doing everything it was supposed to, the latch was rusty and had a ton of grime in it.
As far as reverse, it is ALWAYS like that, it won't go in no matter when i try or how i try to do it. i've tried everything posted so far, and nothing works. thanks for all the great response though, you guys are great.
also, i only drove home from work with the oil light on, then drove to the shop about 1/2 mile away from my house who then opened my hood and added oil for me. my dads car went without oil for too long, the engine seized and since nobody in my family knows how to do engine work like that, he had to pay $4000 for a rebuilt engine, shitty.
anyways, i got hood taken care of, just pissed at my reverse. i plan on taking it to aamco when i get my next paycheck and have them look at it.
thanks again
