idle speed control solenoid?

Default idle speed control solenoid?
is this the thing on the back of the IM? are all of them the same? I know a guy with a accord (88 dx) that is looking for one and can't find anything local.

not all are the same. the IACV/EACV Idle air control valve is on the back of the IM and is about the size and shape of a stick of glue.

alright, so it's that thing that has a sticky on the top and I'm a noob for making a new post, ban.

can't you throw a 10ohm resistor in there and it shuts the hell up?
