listen ill make it simple

y7 auto/ man is ******* manifold aka toilet bowl
y8 manual plenum mani with iacv in the back side... 2 wires
y8 auto plenum mani with iacv on throttle body and 3 wires SAME as y7s

I think I got Y8 manual and Y8 auto mixed up.

Bah, why didn't you just say that in the first place, LOL Crap, this really screws the pooch. Now I understand what you were saying when you said do the OBD1 conversion or use the y7 TB. I think he will be better off just selling the skunk2 TB and using the y7 TB. Then I can just make a block off plate for the IACV holes on the manifold. He wants to convert the car to manual later and turbo it, so he can just hold on to the Skunk2 TB till then. He still needs a damn VTEC solenoid for a Y8 head

He can still block off the IACV and fiddle the pins @ the ECU to eliminate CEL - the ECU doesn't know the intak manifold is funny looking. They don't incorporate the Funny Looking Intake Manifold Sensor (FLIMS) until OBD3, dog.

Ari, he's a friend of B16CRXT who posts here, has a Y7 IM and has done just that to his. Ask Chris aka B16CRXT if Ari's car starts, idles, runs alright.
