funny, about 6 months ago i did one and number 3 was down just a tad, right at spec. lol little did i know damnit! oh well we shall do a build!

somewhat off topic, you need a dedicated line for your BOV. when its on a t with your wastegate it opens a lot slower and doesnt really do its job. but to each their own

i had mine t'ed off of my wastegate at 1st and then when i changed it, it was a lot better. the BOV had a more crisp sound and i stopped hearing any shudder from the turbo when i shifted

sorry but i'm calling BS on this. My blitz opens very ------ fast and i have it teed off with the wastegate, er, boost controller i should say.

 

blow off should always have it's own line when possible

 

the difference is that a wastegate when open holds a decent volume of air. when you shut the throttle body and the intake manifold makes vacumme it has to suck the 5-10psi out of the wastegate and hose before it will open the BOV. your boost controller doesnt hold much air so when you let off the gas it is almost like haveing the BOV on a dedicated line.
