I see you replaced your coil, but did you replace your ignitor too? Maybe the ignitor's about to crap out...used to do that on my obd1 crx every once and a while. Also while you're at it, check your grounds on the water neck, chassis, and valve cover as well. Does it bog and jerk when you hit full throttle? Or part-throttle only? O2 would def. cause problems at part-throttle.

Most noticeable at partial throttle but I think it also occurs at WOT.
Once I get my 450cc injectors and ecu I'm going to put those in, and plan on buying a wideband o2. Before I put the turbo in I was going to replace wires, plugs, rotor, cap, *possibly* ignitor, various engine seals, make a diy catch can, and clean the tb. Maybe after I do all that the problem will be fixed...

replace plug(use stock plugs and gap your plug correctly), plug wires, rotor, cap, adjust ignition timing, oil/filter, fuel filter
how did the plugs look, what is your ignition timing. When did the problem start? was it after any repaiting done to the car?
or go to autozone rent a obdII scanner and see how everythign runs

The plugs looked like normal used plugs. The timing is where it should be, checked with a timing light and jumped the service connector. The problem started soon after I got it. Nothing has been done to the car except driving.
If I rent the OBDII scanner would it tell me anything useful if I'm not throwing any CELs?

I had a similar problem on my old z6 setup. when i put on the msd cap and external coil, the problem went away. I dont know why it happened to my car but once it got more spark it ran great. never had the problem again.

you said it runs better when you put new plugs in it?? Well what do the old plugs look like when you take them out?.. Mine kinda bogged for a while .. was wayy rich.. WOT it would hessitate and bog or kinda missfire.
