an easy way to check for spark and fuel at the same time is to ground out a old spark plug the way jeff told you to but at the same time have the fuel line unbolted if you car bursts into flame you have spark and fuel

you might have fowled the plugs, if you haven't already, check them all for fuel, maybe that wasn't oil on that one plug

A motor basically needs 3 things to run. Spark Fuel and compression. If it has all 3 then MOST of the time it will run. Do the basic test like all the other guys said but instad of going out and buying injector noids that can get expensive than just get a 12v bulb and hook one to of the terminals to either side. The injector pulse runs off a driver inside the ECU and that is determined based on all the other sensor inputs. if you are getting a injector pulse then you are definately getting spark, even though it may not be a strong spark, because spark and the injector pulse are intertwined through the crank sensor inside the dizzy.

try checking the ground wires. i'm talking about the one that mounts close to the thermostat housing this one grounds part of the wiring harness the part for the fuel pump. i did not do this when i swapped motors and i ended up replacing the fuel pump when i did not need to. then i found the dangling wire grounded and took off. hope this helps you man.

I had a problem like this too, and it was my dist. I would put my hood on the prop, then stomp my dist. into the head with my foot. It's a 50/50 cure, but it sure is fun, when that ----------er wants to act up in front of a crowd.
