I've just bought 450 DSM injectors and on a set of four, I have three injectors with a damaged cap...
How can I fix them or can I replace the caps?


(I've been told that there was already a topic about it, but I am trying to find it for half an hour and can't find anything... )

 

I was told to just rip em off.

 

again, they protect the pintle, if you remove them just dont DROP THEM!!! if you do u will ---- them up.

 

I'm running only 3 caps on my 450's. Your fine, but you're gonna be mad if you drop it :-) (Even though dropping injectors any time is not good.

 

Do you think I can fit the stock Honda injectors cap on the DSM 450 easily?

 

just dont drop them. is it that hard?

 

The trouble is 3 of my 4 DSM 450 injectors have wrecked caps...

 

One of my 450's have a crack on the cap too...any reason to NOT take it off? It's not going to fall apart in the manifold or anything is it?
