well im putting a little mini me togrther and was using a compression calculator and came up with 12.7:1 using and a6 block,z6 head,zc pistons and a stock z6 headgasket.. now thats dangerously close to race gas only territory and im wondering how much is too much? i will also be using a stage 2 exospeed cam with this set up reving out to about 8200. who makes a thick enough headgasket to drop it down to about 12.1-12.5:1 or am i worring for no particular reason at all? 93 with some retarded timing and call it good? this will be a daily driven motor..

I get 12.03 for the Z6 head, 12.61 with the Y8 head.

my brother ran a ls bored to a 1.9 with 13.2:1 on pump gas prelude 345cc injectors and no tunning what so ever , ran awesome untill he sold it and pissnuts ran into a tree

 

awesome!! yea 13:1 is a bit too much to me anyway for regular pump gas.. i am glad that calculator was wrong as i was hoping for just 12:1 that will give me plenty of power to do what i want to do with it till the zc gets done for another boost session.
