how do you pull apart a civic trans
Do you mean take the tranny itself apart or take the tranny off the motor?
The tranny has a "hidden" clip that holds the casing together. There should be a fairly large bolt/plug that conciels it. You should be able to tell once you have located it.
EDIT: Damn it, ghettoturbo beat me by 22 seconds. :P

assuming its manual,, there is a large plug at the tail end of the trans and that should have a spot to put a 3/8 rachet. Take that off and there is a clip inside and you need to ------ the clip and lift the case off.
Don't be a jackass. My post was 22 seconds after the first reply. If you calculate in your head how long it takes to type a message you will realize nobody had replied by the time I hit the reply button. This is the second post from you just like this one complaining about stupid ----.
