Default HELP!WTF?NEW MOTOR

k just got done with my build, d16a6 with vitara pistons, hasting rings, eagle rods h beam, block guard,z6 tranny wtf it wont keep a steady idle for ---- seems like it misfiring im using my stock b7 distributor...it cranks and will idle for a few...and then its seem to want to die...im thinking its because the rings are not seated, and oil is getting on the sparkplugs? compression tested across the board yeilded 125 on all cylinders mind you now my cr should be around 8:1 being that Im using 8.5.1 vitaras, and a 2layer d16y8 headgasket....what else to do?

Ive got 140 across the board on an a6 with vitaras but my head is milled .040"

If oil is on the sparkplugs you have problems. It sounds like your enginemanagement/timing is getting in your way of starting though

What are you using to run it?
