Default Help. Problem with car going into gear. Win $5 via paypal.

Ok first off if you help me fix my problem or guide me in the way to where I fix my problem I will send $5 through paypal to your account.
My setup:

94 civic coupe
d16z6
y8 tranny
act xtss clutch

First off I had the original d16z6 tranny in but it grinded alot of gears so I swapped it out for a y8 tranny, while I did the tranny swap I put in a act xtss clutch. I went with this clutch because I knew it would grip hard and I knew I was going to turbo it soon. Well after 2 months of everything working perfectly fine one morning when I was driving to school I switched into 2nd gear and barely missed it right away my engine was free reving and not going anywhere, just as if you would burn up a clutch. Well once I pulled over and shut my engine off the car fealt like it wasnt locking into any gear. When I would start the car it would def. not go in any gear as if somthing was blocking the shift linkage from moving. So I thought it was the tranny. (all along I had a fealing this clutch could of not messed up that tranny so fast.) So I bought a new y8 tranny from a local and just put it in last night.(8 hours) Now the exact same thing the car wont go into gear when I start it. I forgot to mention when I pulled the first one it looked like the shift fork that slides over the bearing had gotten thrown off. Not sure though if it just feal off when I pulled the tranny. So I made sure everything was in perfect place when I swapped it in. If my car's not on and someone is standing by my hood by pushing the shifter into gears it goes in. As soon as you start it up though it wont move anywhere not even with force. It seems like somthing's blocking it internally or somthing. (i dunno) Also if the car's off I can put it into gear start it up and drive in that gear. But I cant switch into any other gear. Anyone know that the problem could be. I bleed the clutch 500 times and it has alot of pressure on it, for sure not any air in the line. I dont know im just burned out. I have a badass turbo kit also waiting to go on. Let me know guy's if youve ever experienced anything like this and what you had to do to fix it. Thanks in advance.! -Nick

if u leave it in first gear with the car off, does the car jump up when u try to crank it?
and while u say it doesn`t go into gear even with force. did u REALLY force it in or being a puss?? try to FORCE it in see if it grinds.
did u remember to fill up the tranny?
when u change ur tranny, did u make sure nothings caught between the shiftlinkage? with the car off, have someone craw underneth the car and make sure the linkage move freely throught all the gears.

BTW 5 dollars not enough for all those E-brain juices, u should make it 50

i agree try that. My tranny wont go into a lower gear. its like locked out. but if I jam it i will grind it. So i rev it a little and she slides in.. try whats above.

Thanks for the reply's guys I appreciate it. Well I just pulled the tranny off again, and noticed the hub on my street disc is kinds stripped a little bit. Im for sure going to take the flywheel off resurface it and then replace the pilot bearing. I called ACT and told them about my hub on the disc missing some metal, im shipping it off today and hofally they will be getting me a new one asap. They did seem pretty cool about it. Im also going to be replacing my throw out bearing and the shift fork. We will see what happens

heres a pic of the hub cant see what im talking about from this pic:

and this is the reason I want this fixed so bad. Heres a mockup seeing how everything fits:

I made a 3" downpipe for this already. With this manifold and a 3" downpipe it should be instant spool. The turbo is a ihirhb5 off of a wrx. (yes the wierd triangle flange one)

Damnit, missed out on the $5.

Yeah, your sounds like the classic "popped a hub spring" issue. Make sure the step on the pressure plate is correct for the clutch disc.
