Help please, Can't get fuel pressure down with new pump and regulator.
Installed a B+M FPR, and a Walbro 255lph pump on my LS powered 92EG.
installed a cheap/generic fuel pressure gauge, and with the car running, *vac hose off or on* its always over 100PSI, which I know is not ideal...
The second I turn the car off, it drops down to like 55 or so.
Am I setting the FPR wrong? Do I need to drill it out like I've seen done to help drop the pressure? Help?
* no matter WHERE I adjust the FPR to, with the hose on OR off, its still above 100*
Could the gauge be bad?

Found this:
Looks like the FPR is just Pegged and can't dump fuel fast enough because of how small it is.
Need to drill it out a spec

get an AEM or Aeromotive FPR.......I threw the B&M in the garbage, it would stick open after about a year.
Also with Larry's mod you need a bigger drill bit, it'll also bleed off the line pressure when you shut the car off. Now you'll need to await 2-3 seconds for the pump to prime before cranking.

I have no problem waiting 2-3 seconds to start, Car isn't daily driven, and I will eventually purchase the AEM or Aeromotive units, but they are out of my pricerange right now.

Do you think this might be my problem? (the pressure just pegging the FPR)

I know I cut it correctly, so the spring must not be sitting on the piston correctly or something.
Thanks for the info
(I kept the stock spring if it matters?
