where to wire in switch
i am about to install a fan switch on my 91 hatch. i have removed all the a/c stuff except for the evap coil in the airbox. the condensor fan fuse in the underhood box is now open. i plan on using it for power since it is a ign only power source. and plan on grounding it under the dash near the switch.
should i wire the switch to complete the ground or power cicuit??

Re: where to wire in switch
looking at the Helms i found this, so i guess i could put the switch on the ground
OEM EF setup w/o A/C
12V ---------- + -----------FAN-------- - -------TEMP SWITCH--------------GROUND
when the temp switch hits 183* it completes the ground to turn the fan on.
the setup with A/C is similar but its combined into the A/C harness w/ all those relays
i could wire it OEM style but i recently rewrapped all my harnesses and cleaned up my wiring and i dont wanna do it all again

12V ---------- + -------RELAY------- -----------FAN----------- -------GROUND (Output side of relay)
12V ---------- + -------RELAY------- ----TEMP SWITCH---- ---------GROUND (activation side of relay)
Don't think many temp switches can handle the Amps of the fan can they?

Re: where to wire in switch
i am going to use the condenser fan fuse for power , i no longer have any a/c components in my car so the fuse has nothing going to it. i am putting in a manual switch untill i wire it properly through the engine harness.
