mmmm thats gonna be a tough one man. Every clitch I've done I used an alignment tool. Without it your disc could be off center. Is there any local tranny shop or someplace you could get an alignment tool from? Their just cheap plastic things that come in the clutch kit, so I'm sure no one would charge you for it.

hey man i didnt have a clutch alignmet tool but i got my clutch on it anyways, had to make one. pretty much do this get a long deep socket that is thin enough toi fit into the bearing or flywheel part.... now get some duct tape and start wrapping the fat end (where the wrench connect to) do this as much as you need it untill the clutch disc will fit into it snugly.... now insert the clutch with your homemade alignment tool. and bolt up the pressure plate.

I know it sounds risky and what not... but i did this when i put on my CF Dual friction Kit.. and its been running good and better ever since.

good luck.... or try geting a wooden broom stick and carve it down till it fits...

from my knowledge, the clutch alignment tool lines up the splies of the clutch disk to the engine's splines, other wise when you put your transmission back on, it wont' line up and screw it up.

You can do the make your own trick, and then line up the splines with your eye, it will be trcikey, and it will be a pain in the *** to take the tranny on and off until you get it right. Take a flat peice of metal, and make it just wide enough to fit in between the splines, but make sure you use two that are directly across from each other, that way, it will only fit throught the same ones on the pressure plate. It will be tricky to get it perfeclty alinged with the bearing though.
