unfortunatly i broke a lightbulb right over the head, and a few small shards went down the oil retun ... hopefully the oil filter grabs that!!!!!! .. but if i ever get it up and running ill change the oil first thing .... ok ... im going out to try and get her running ./...

well ... the motor started .... ran like ***!!!!
i got a code 6 and a code 16 even after resetting the ecu ....
i let it run for about a minute and shut her down .... afteward the compression test resulted in the same shitty numbers....
there was alot of oil on the block ... on the #4 cylinder, where the problem began in the first place ...
i noticed at the first flange(2 piece header) it was wet at the flange... i ripped the header off to see moisture, which im guessing was oil in the #4 runner ... it quickly evaporated before my eyes.... the #4 plus was wet and pretty black/oily like ...
the car did not smoke at all though not from the exhaust.... is it possible the car did not warm up enough? ...... i did not refill it with coolant yet and obviosly the water pump would not kick in before reaching high enough temps .... when i installed the head the coolant level was over an inch under the top of the sleeves... leafin me to belive that it is not coolant that is leaking, being that there should be no coolant head....
so what can we be looking at?? blown rings? can bad valve guides dump this sort of oil?
and all in all what the ---- would be throwing my code 16?, and none of this yet adds up to why i have shitty compression in cylinders #1 and #2
my first head gasket change that should be rutine ..... and its turned into a nightmare? could it never had been the headgasket from the start? and y do i have shitty compression in #1 and #2 .....

u said you cleaned the old gasket "really nice", how nice is realy nice? those old paper gaskets are a pain in the *** to clean. if there was any left it could cause the leaks around the block and mess up you compression too

but the head looks beautiful .... my boy came over and was like "damn, did u have that thing milled?"

oh and code 6 is your water temp sensor that goes on the side of the cylinder head and code 16 is one of your fuel injectors. make sure their plugged in right mang. thats probably y the car ran like ----

ya your right, double check your wiring. those codes dont have nothing to do with the compression. fix those codes,then see how it runs. if its leaking out the sides of the block it sounds like your just gona have to do it over i know that sucks major *****, ive been there

im gonna try one last time with a diffrent head ..... none off this adds up .... and doesnt it seem fishy that im still getting oild problem in the same exact cylinder as before i went to do the gasket?
ive read how to do mini me swaps and do an ls/b20 vtec a thousand times!!!! im really not a moron but at this point i feel like one ...
trust me i love this ---- guys ... i would sit there and ---- with this forever .... but this is my brothers car .... when i brought my hatch back from the dead after it was stolen with junkyard parts i had both time and money.... and these small obsticals didnt bother me the least .....
but this is my bros daily driver ... and now i have no time and no money... im having a baby very shortly.... nad ive shelled out $$$ for a torque wrench, a dememl, a head gasket, and a few other little things for this project .... and i just cant keep giving out money and my time is running short .....
blah .. ok im whining like a bitch now ... ill stop .... gonna get some rest ..... tomorrows another day.................
