HEAD GASKET

Default HEAD GASKET

I dont know if my bore is 81mm or 81.5. I need to buy a HG, which way do you think I should go? There is a OEM head gasket on there now, so can you get a OEM HG in 81.5mm?

Just use the 81mm gasket. I know for my 75.5mm bore the gasket for 75mm wasn't too small. There was quite a bit of room for maybe up to 76 or 76.5... if the sleeves could sustain it which they can't.

Honda headgaskets are good for oversized pistons... ever notice that Honda lists a oversized piston but not a oversized headgasket

ahh...ok. So a 81mm then will be just fine.

I went to hap and they have 2 head gaskets listed, thats why i asked...
