I use to turn mine on manually when i felt like it that was the beauty of it. On my crx I just used to push the rear defogger button (onmy car nothing works ) I was always asked why I pushed button they used to say nawwws. The wire went straight to the soliniod. Turn the car off and push the button to make sure it clicks. My two cents.

I just hooked mine up on a pushbutton swith next to my shifter. It runs to a relay thought too because i also have a fifth injector(i know...total dog-*** setup :P )that kicks on when i push the button. Why not just get a msd rpm activated switch? A little pricey, but well worth it if you don't wanna have to ---- with it, and you can set when vtec turns on.

Well, considering i'm broke and can't afford a pw3 or equivalent ecu, a button will have to do. Like i said in my previos post, it's a dog-*** setup, but it works. I wanna try and see if i can get a chipped pm6 work to control my vtec, maybe like a one-wire deal. If anyone got any info on this, let me know.

so you have to push the button at a certain rpm, then change gears, turn it off, push it again when it reaches the certain rpm in that gear too, so like 10 button pushes for 5 gears :P
