Default H23 vtec head swap

hey guys i was thinking of swaping a h22 vtec head on my brother h23 because he need the rpm to rev higher for more top speed and better top end rather then spend on building the h23 head

if you're talking about the 94+ acc...then yes. but just by adding the longer gears doesnt mean you'll pull a higher mph....your motor will have to have enough power to get it there. most stock motors will not pull to redline on 5th.......even with the smallest 5th possible..you'll need power to push.

yes prozac is right art.... You can swap trannies... however you will need some power to get it there. A h22 vtec head isnt the worst idea but it isnt the greatest. If you have a good deal one then go for it. If your going to make the use of the power from vtec... your going to have to rev high... and with the h23 bottom end... it cant take much high revving... especially not a top speed run... change trannies... boost the h23

yes i have think about the f22 tranny it won't pull to red line but if i have power then it will of course but i also wan't to conv it to obd1 n run it on gsr ecy or lude vtec ecu so the best plan now is acc tranny and turbo ?
