Is this just a replacement or you tossing this into a civic/teg? I wouldn't even bother with the A4. Find a older H series longblock thats good.

not worth 500 bux. the entire valve train might need replacement and they couldhave damaged the pistons. offer him 200 bux, fix the head, then slap it on a f22

Dude just save your money on something better. But you posted somewhere else that you already have a A4 so why do you want two? Talkin how you want to put a F20B head onto a A4 block.

FRM-compatible piston replacements are dollars, valvetrain is dollars, machinework and assembly are dollars. Give him $50 tops, and if the engine is crap you can make an easy $60 scrapping it if you take the time to knock the sleeves out of the block so you can get it's weight as aluminum.
