Default H22 Swap

Not really looking at turbo just yet, what sort of work is involved in fitting a h22a into a civic (non vtec)? What can i do with the engine and alternatives b18 i think?

which civic?? EF EG EK
uhmmm you probably need to do some cutting...depends on which civic.
I think there are a few mounts out there for EK swap and EG swaps.
If I'm not mistaken you have to do some cutting for the tranny to fit

It's Fat and furius...a B would be easier and give you more power when boosted and better power to weight ratio.
But if you want a NA monster go with it, but there is a lot of work and sweat in it....you also need to do sumthing with your front suspension..stock ain't gonna cut it..For me a H swap is more work and a B would be the best in the long run.

FYI the H22 tranny's are cable operated not linkage operated like your civic. you have the change the entire shifting mechanism.
