Guys I know alot of you are lookn to basha noob, and frankly BITCHASSCRACKER HAS TRIED BUT FAILED. But I was on my way to work today and only hit a boost of 3psi and the MOTHER LET LOOSE, I had mad smoke from the turbo. Got it home at lunch break, and when the shift was over I took the snail off and started to tear it apart. Greddy has one problem, QC, on the intake turbine 5 out of the 6 bolts were finger tight, exhaust side had 1 bolt loose and didnt have a ------ GASKET, the shaft was clean thought all fittings, rings, and seals in place. Thank god the compressor and the exhaust wheel were fine and never toughted the housing. So here is the deal, a while back I got a SUPER T70 EBAY special from a friend for $40, I went ahead and took that apart," I heard the T70 is a copy cat from the GT30 greddy turbo" and what do ya know, THE T70 had all the seals, was actually one piece and not glued on the intake and everything was in balance. EvEN seen GREDDY laser etched on the shaft, exhaust housing, and even etched on the back side of the intake houseing with a serial number. So I thought this was a bluff from the factory, I called TRUST and read the serial number off to them and it was legit"DID EBAY JUST SELL A TRUST TURBO AS A T70" that was the question I asked KEORI as TRUST. He said he get many calls a day for rebuild kits and especially for the GT30. BUT he also said they only sold 4000 units last year but has sold 9k rebuild kits this year. He said no one has called with a serial number refund just asked for the whole swap with a order of 50 unit rebuilds. So I guess SSAUTOCHROME is now using greddy products with a knock off housing. WTF did the gooke just foreget to install all the seals before break??
