Default GSR head studs in a b16a block?

I searched around on H-T for this, and like usual I found mixed responses and tons of typical nut-hugging. Basicly it's this...I have a set of Golden Eagle gsr headstuds that I want to use for now in my b16a block while I finish my LS bottom end. Now what I can see when the b16 stock headbolts bottom out compared to the gsr studs isn't much of a difference, maybe an 1/8" difference at most. But there are still plenty of threads on the gsr studs to go below the head's surface. Think I could use these for the time being? Seems like a better option than re-using the old stock headbolts and possibly breaking another bolt in one of my blocks. :P

Yeah, the length of the b18c's are definately longer, but when I threaded them into the block compared next to the b16 it didn't look like much of a height difference when they were both bottomed out. I guess I'll find out tomorrow (hopefully) if they work or not. Anyone know where I can find the ARP washers part #APW1316N ? I need to get another 10 of them, or at least 8 since I still have 2 that were laying around.

Nevermind on the washers...Summit Racing has them.

Lol they're not that much longer...they sit deep in the head. From what I can tell the difference is how far down the threads are in the block.

if you bottom out before touching the head you will pull out the threads from the block

I'll take a pic of what I mean sometime today. The studs are supposed to get bottomed out, the bolts obviously are not. I think a pic will clear up what I'm trying to do much better. I'm just saying that when the stud is set and compared to the stock bolt that's run to the bottom of the threads, the top threaded portion of the stud is still long enough to encompass the area that the head from the bolt sits at with extra above and below that point. Kinda hard to describe, but I do believe it'll work.
