GSR head studs in a b16a block?
I searched around on H-T for this, and like usual I found mixed responses and tons of typical nut-hugging. Basicly it's this...I have a set of Golden Eagle gsr headstuds that I want to use for now in my b16a block while I finish my LS bottom end. Now what I can see when the b16 stock headbolts bottom out compared to the gsr studs isn't much of a difference, maybe an 1/8" difference at most. But there are still plenty of threads on the gsr studs to go below the head's surface. Think I could use these for the time being? Seems like a better option than re-using the old stock headbolts and possibly breaking another bolt in one of my blocks. :P

if you bottom out before touching the head you will pull out the threads from the block
