gsr crank in an LS block?

Re: gsr crank in an LS block?
LS/GSR/B16 all have an 81mm bore the B20 is the odd man out with the 84mm bore,
As said above this should work but isn't doing so like de-stroking the LS motor? you will loose some torque but on the flip side you will be using some stronger rods...and also the head is going to be what regulates how high you can rev the motor...

Funny how you see gsr blocks and cranks going for $500, yet I just saw a gsr crank for $50. If you put the $50 crank into a $50 LS block, you basically have the same thing as the guy selling the $500 gsr block. Ahh, all in the name.

As much as I hate saying this, if you're worried about rockers flying off might as well just invest in a vtec head. B16 heads seem to be coming down in price lately, and you won't have to worry about stuff flying off with them.
