god damn check light!!!!!!!!
d16z6 with headwork,i/h/e and the fucken check light is on. It's code 1 (oxygen content) and I've changed the o2 sensor like 4 times. I think Im running way lean, cause after the ex injectors and bypassing the fuel regulator it runs alot better, but I need more. You think the vx pump could be doing it? What else? Please help
It only throws the light after I warm up and Im decelerating. It won't come on until I slow down??

I get the same dumbass check engine light( one blink on the ECU - 02 sensor). I have a 90 crx dx with a d16z6 block w/y8 head, using crx si ECU. Ever since the swap I always get a check engine light after the engine is warm and I've been driving for a while. I also changed the 02 sensor. I put the EX injectors and fuel rail( used a drill press to modify it, the holes for the mounting bolts are different). The 02 sensor didn't change ----. The ex injectors/fuel rail/fuel pressure regulator made throttle response ALOT better... but that ------- light still comes on. I have a buddy with the same car/swap/problem. Maybe this is a common problem with this swap? I would also love to know what the hell causes that.
It's must be fuel delivery.
Check you plugs..if they white your running lean and need to get more fuel to the engine.
It may be the pump, just borrow a pump or get a walbro pump and put it in and see.

I checked the plugs and they look perfect. The code actually says o2 senser/pressure regulator. What else could be the pressure regulator besides the fuel. I've run the car with the fuel press. regulator on and off. It ran better when I bypassed it. Could there be some other sort of "pressure regulator" they could be referring to?

a) you have bad wires running back and forth to the o2 sensor
b) you have a gutted catalytic converter and this is the secondary o2 sensor erroring
c) your fuel filter or fuel pump need replacing
Try running some fuel system cleaner through your next tank of gas, see if that helps at all.
My cat. is new. Im running a 4-1 dc header with the o2 before the cat. wiring? fuel pump is suspicious but I don't know why it would be bad after my swap unless it's not supplying enough....
