stock rods with arp bolts are fine, but with the stock bolts you are gonna throw a rod.
but all the first hand i've seen are on ls-v motors. so heads going to 9k aren't a problem.

I don't know man, there are a lot of proven OEM parts out there, but I never had any luck with them, my first turbo car was completely stock did not last a month with my driving habits.
I never went back since then, don't wanna take the chance ever again on a serious build. I recently made 300whp on high mileage stock motor in a competitiion but I only did it on the dyno, tuned it rich with E85.
but in my serious motors I only use aftermarket parts, I am running a stock ignition thats about it..

thanks for all the info guys.its appreciated, im still undecieded, so who the ---- knows if im gonna use one lol. i think its being prolly under 200 whp and it being revved to 8500(stock cluster full redline) i prolly wont need one, i beat on my ----, bit i also do it the right way...***With oil, warmed up, good parts** not like these idiots that leave our meet and beat the DAWG ---- outa there car before the temp gauge hits 100 degrees.
