ya you can.. but Id get some big *** vise grips on that bolt and get it off there. Most b-series takes around 2.2quarts I think? Im sure mista bone knows the exact amount.

needs 1.8 quarts on a fluid change, dump in the whole 2 quarts it will be fine...........

DO NOT try filling thru the speedo cable opening, not gonna work. Don;t even bother trying to pull the spreedo drive assembly, not made to come out like a VSS unit.

You have 2 options, both a PITA in their own way.

First and SLOWEST way, fill via the vent hose, yep 2 quarts of oil thru that TINY LITTLE HOSE, have fun!!!!!!!!!!

Second and easiest. Put tranny in 5th gear or reverse, remove the starter. You will then see a 19mm head plug for the shift arm. There will be a spring behind it. Once the spring is out of the way, easy spot to dump in your fluid, reverse, done. The plug is to be torque to 40 ft/lbs, but has no real force on it, so take it easy!!!!!!

inside looking out...........
