Default ------' SWAP PROBS!

Okay lemme start from tha beginning. I have a 90-91 Integ LS B18A1 in my car. My CRX is an HF but the wiring has been setup for an Si. The engine harness is an Si with a few mods made to work for my motor. Everything is set, all plugged up and everything. I start the damn car and it turns over but won't fire. The injectors has each been tested with the 9-volt battery test. They all work. Then got a new MSD Blaster SS external Coil cause the first one was literally bad. Then did the spark plug test where you pull one of the plug wires off and insert a plug to see if it sparks. Guess what? No damn spark. Could it be the distributor? Did I do something wrong? I NEED HELP PLEASE!

Thank you.
Winston

the Si and HF dist plugs look 100% the same, except some wires need to be moved around. (im like 70% sure of this)

Is there a way of showing which ones that need to be moved around? And since I've already tried to start my engine a few times already, would I have to start over at TDC?

Okay, my bad folks. I spoke to the guy who sold me the car and he said that the main wiring is still set for an HF. But the engine harness came from an Si.

i had to extend 1 plug, and the map sensor wires for a b18b1, but im pretty sure it should all match for the a1...it should be pretty straight forward for the si harness. if u have it all set, i would bet its somthing in the distributor, like the ignitor (like turbohf said).

I don't think there's an ignitor problem cause I'm running an external coil and the ignitor was removed from the dizzy...Unless you're supposed to leave the ingitor in the dizzy, are you?

when I did my b16 swap I had this same problem, it turned out that I had 2 ground wires coming from the ecu that weren't grounding. go through your whole ecu wire harness with a test light and make sure everything works.
