how bout you have someone rev up the engine while you look under the hood.

And if the problem came back with the original igniter after a while, that means it goes bad with the heat.

replace it with a new one from Honda.

 

i rev it many times higher up and no sound comes back.. it actually needs a normal drive pull for it to come back.. its the weirdest thing.. Do you think a ignitor is going if the car bogs and the needle fluctuates?? what would a bad Coil have symptoms of?

it can be either or. The only way to find out is to replace with the appropriate, working part.

ok.. so Ignitor and Ingition coil was replaced. After i replaced the Coil, it felt a lot stronger.. but after a day, the problem came back! how annoying..

any other input?

 

did you make sure the connections to the coil were nice and clean? i was swapping dizzy stuff around and didn't sandpaper the terminals that attached to teh coil. took me an hour to figure it out. coil worked in the one dizzy, but not the other. make sure you have a clean contact between everything.
