ok ive recently fixed all my codes on my 88 dx hatch (code 14) and now that everything is thogethere its throwing code 16 (injectors) now. ok heres what happens i start my car runs good but when i startto drive it, it throws code 16 # 3 injector stops pumping fuel? when i reset the ecu it goes away and it will idal fine but as soon as i start to drive it it throws code 16. all my wiring is good checked it twice redid it. and now the wierd thing is that soon as it throws the code and # 3 isnt working if i take the stock yellow (#1 injector)wire and touch it to the red wire(# injector)all hte injectors will wirk fine, but it will still throw code 16? this is very wierd so if anyone has any ideas lmk. thanks -adam-

 

ok... that's a bit confusing.

how do you take the #1 injector wire and touch it to the #3 injector? shouldn't the wires... be connected to the injectors?

 

i ment i got power from # 1 and spliced it into #3.
....but anyways i fixed it i just hooked up the # 3 injector straight to the ecu adn now no more codes. i think it was grounding out some way. so this can b deleted.

 

I don't know where you get the idea that we delete threads after questions have been answered, but that would defeat the purpose of a forum, don't you think?
