Try it by yourself on a 4g63 sometime. the trick is put the exhuast cam one tooth below the mark and then pull the pin out of the tensioner. It comes right in time.

Yea, I'm gona have to do it this weekend. I did a delta cam install and my dumbass forgot to tighten the tensioner back up after I was done.
Come start up time, i crank it twice. The first time it sounded like it was about to start, so I crank it again but it only back fires. Then I remembered about the adjuster nut.
I'm pretty sure it skipped more than a few teeth. Hopefully nothing got damaged.
