Guys can you get any peformance out of a stock Civic muffler, with a custom tip.. the reason I ask is because I'm gettin' older, and starting not to like the loud noise anymore, that these aftermarket mufflers bring..

 

get a 3 inch magnaflow, and repipe that bitch

 

will that be make noise or just pure performance

 

If your getting older than you should be less of a ricer. An exhaust tip does absolutly nothing for performance. Any exhaust that has better flow is going to be louder. If you don't want a louder car, don't modify it.

 

Well put Whitey Honestly if the noise bothers you, try one of the HKS Dragger exhausts. My friend has one on his hatchback, looks almost like stock, and is very quiet. Downside is a bigger price tag than most people like to fork out. Or just get a Magnaflow with a chambered design, which is pretty much how the HKS exhaust is setup.
