Guys can you get any peformance out of a stock Civic muffler, with a custom tip.. the reason I ask is because I'm gettin' older, and starting not to like the loud noise anymore, that these aftermarket mufflers bring..

If your getting older than you should be less of a ricer. An exhaust tip does absolutly nothing for performance. Any exhaust that has better flow is going to be louder. If you don't want a louder car, don't modify it.

Well put Whitey ;) Honestly if the noise bothers you, try one of the HKS Dragger exhausts. My friend has one on his hatchback, looks almost like stock, and is very quiet. Downside is a bigger price tag than most people like to fork out. Or just get a Magnaflow with a chambered design, which is pretty much how the HKS exhaust is setup.
