So earlier on in the week I had a warped head, I got another head in pretty fucked up condition but at least it was straight, I had to replace 2 exhaust valves, othat than that its good and runs and idles good too, but as soon as I get to 4000 rpm the intake sound becomes very loud and the car dosnt make any power, usually hondas make power to 6800.

I honestly cant figure this problem out, so if you guys have any ideas let me know.

Funny thing is when I had the blown gasket and warped head that I replaced, I had a code 10, but after the fix it stayed on and then turned off, I checked and it throws no CEL, so i'm good, no check engine light.

I'll see how much its off tomorrow.

 

Sounds like your timing is off. Maybe a bad valve?

 

It's the crank angle sensor inside the distributor. This happened to me a while back

 

This sounds similiar to a problem i've been having. If its the crank angle sensor how can he fix it?

 

Could it be a mass air sensor. I had this prob quite a while ago with the same symptoms.

 

i had a crx with a bad main relay that had the same problems.
