eld code, need help kind of fast :/

that's just it, not everything is plugges in because it's a 90 crx with an obd1 d15b, so not all sensors match up, there are extra sensors on the back of the a6 that aren't on the d15, but they shouldn't matter b/c it's converted to obd1 anyways. i think it's the big funky looking 3 pin plug covered with clearish rubber right by the underhood fuse box, if so, when i took it apart to remove the engine, there was all kinds of clay looking ---- like some kind of wire insulator or something, anyways, it was all over the actual prongs, maybe it's not getting a good connection, or maybe it's just a blown fuse under the dash, can anyone comfirm that this could more than likely be the problem? it's my buddies car and he works a lot, so i probably won't be over there again for a few weeks.
