Default EDM Boost map config issues. Running without ELD.

Well, I might finally start my first turbo project.
One of the members here is parting out, and I'm buying the most part of his setup.

It's gonna be a 14B kit, wich as I read is ideal for n00bz and beginners like me.

Here's the tricky part. I wanted to use TurboEdit to run my stock ECU. However, being located in holland, I cannot run the general ZC boostmap floating around. We dutch ppl have no ELD sensor.
Does anyone know if the ZC fuelmap values can be copied over to my own ECU map to run boost? I imagine the D16Z5 engine I'm running is mostly similar to your ZC.

Would this work with the stock injectors on a 14B turbo?

Due to budget limitations, I was planning of getting started non-intercooled. Is this a VERY bad idea on a modded ecu?
I'd rather spend $100 more on a used IC then have this ---- blow up in my face on the first try.

There are zero to none boosted crx'es in holland. If there are they're dumbass rich kids wo had a expensive kit slapped on at a shop. So I have no one local to turn to leech for knowledge or help.

Any help greatly appreciated. If anyone is interested in EDM contacts, hit me up on AIM.
I will ----- EDM parts for turbo parts

I guess it really depends on what ECU you have(?).

Shoot us a ROM image (if you have one), or let us know just what ECU is in your vehicle, and I'll take a look at the bin and see what we can do for you...

Yo I'm kinda Dutch
I can help ya out.
I had a boosted 1st gen CRX HMT style and a boosted EG civic
What is tha ELD thing
I tried chipping a PP4 ecu from a civic concerto...no luck...CEL stays on and limp-mode....
Try to chip the ecu if it doesn't work you can always throw the old rom back in and drive NA.
I helped my neighbour with his car last time....luckily he had a USDM Pm6 and we chipped that one and he's running a normal turboedit NA bin with launch control on his D16Z5...I just imported the Mugen fuel and ingnition tables in the turboedit NA bin. He'll be boosting soon.
I live in Eindhoven...just give me a call...0652383272

One more thing...you can't boost your engine with the stock injectors that would be unsafe and unless you're only going to boost like 4-5 psi and maxing out the injectors dutycycles. get some 450cc they're cheap I got them $75 shipped to my door step

ELD is a Electronic Load Detection sensor.
Not sure,..but apparently it checks is the in and outgoing electronic currents are equal. I'd imagine to check for surges and power "leaks" or something.

I have 2 BIN files. the OEM one... and a modified N/A map with datalogging added by someone.
We dutchies are sporting a PM7-X04 ecu. FYI.
OEM BIN file
Tuned BIN file

I'll hit up Semnos too...aren't you aquinted witl AllGo..?

Yo sem, has the pp4 got an external rom? if so you wanna get rid of it?

seti20- have you got an external rom in that PM7, i'm guessing not with your car being euro, i'm from the uk and have had the same problems, if you want a good bin get TE2 and download my featured map, it is for a Euro ZC and you shouldnt get a ELD code with it but you will probably get a O2 sensor code but you can wire an O2 in if you are bothered about it and FWIW i would go with an intercooler

the ELD detects current demands. when the demand is high the alt kicks in high output. That gernerally drops RPM's. Thus the ELD sends a signal to the ecu that elec load is heavy and the rpms get bumped up.
