If it is a zc tranny, I know one of the trannys that go to the sohc motor has LSD and is hard to find.

if it is going inot an ef , which im assuming by your name. I would put a SI tranny on there....or a ZC.

the dx and si trannys have teh same 1-5 gears, the zc has bigger 1-5 gears, but smaller ringgear/fd.

dx fd = 3.88
si = 4.25
zc = 3.88

or you could get a civic ex tranny which has a 4.058 final drive and the same gearing as the dx/si trannys.

you should be perfeclty fine with a si tranny. the dx gearing will be longer and ---- anyne who says turbo's like longer gears. fact of the matter is the faster you go trhough your gears *as long as you're getting traction* the faster your car will be, boost or no boost. you'll be making more power by keeping it higher in the power band between shifts with the higher gearing.

only down side is higher freeway speeds which the si isn't that bad at all.

i was running a zc/ex hybrid on my dohc and it was fun. high freeway rpm though...

it is in my 90 si now though with a d16a6 and that is going to have a t-25 on it pretty soon so i'll let ya know how it rips.
