---- having a jack under the trans..man up and benchpress that ---- in there *****. first just concentrate on getting the input shaft into the pp, then worry about the dowel pins. once its in the pp you can jiggle it a little to get it all lined up. sometimes its a bitch but stick with it

I know some of you are confused on what I meant by "take the axles out." Obviously :1 you would need to take the axles out of the tranny. I implied that you should take them out of the knuckles also, take the axles out completely.
Ghettoturbo knows what I'm talking about. Tranny jack? I don't see a corvette in that picture.

just to help people out in the future, here's a lil how to for not ------- your ball joint boots:
1. loosen castle nut on ball joint
2. pry downward on the control arm between the spindle and lower control arm....any way you can get it so that there's some force trying to pull the ball joint out of the control arm
3. whack the ---- out of the lower control arm on the outside of where the ball joint is pressed into the control arm while still putting tension on w/ the prybar

Re: EDIT: EDIT: How to get transmission back in (see bottom)
That's why there should be a jack under the motor :1
If it's a B series, then a jack under that motor is not needed because you don't have to remove the rear mount from the engine.

Re: EDIT: EDIT: How to get transmission back in (see bottom)
The only thing i have left to do is the axles. I can slide the acles in all the way except for like a half or quarter inch gap. Any tricks on how to get them in? is it okay to hit them with a mallet or hammer? Hopefully, easter will be both the rebirth of jesus and my car

Put the end of the axle back into the hub, screw the axles nuton a few threads, but leave enough unscrewed to protect the end ofthe axle. Get a ruybber mallet, and smahs that ****** in. (make sur eyou hook everything up first so it doesnt move around (to teh side and ----).
