If their blinding other drivers just aim that ---- right. You can blind other cars with your stock headlights if their all googly eyed and pointing everywhere but where you want them. I'm going with the ebay 6k hid kit for my volvo. They've gone dirt cheap now and you can find a full kit from 60 shipped that includes everything needed...ballast,harness, and bulbs brand new.

That's so untrue.

The HID light is so much brighter so that you can't control it with the stock headlights. That's the reason if you don't retrofit them they suck and blind everyone on the road.

And I wonder how the quality of a $60 kit is? I'm guessing it's similar to the ricer-blue headlight bulbs that blow-out every month from getting too hot.

I am still debating on getting them, inspection is really ---- here, and hard to pass, I am surprised I pass it with a turbo, and gutted cat with 3" exhaust.

I may get the lights soon, I am just not sure.

the hid-tyc combo is ok
I put hid's in the 'stock' projector lenses of the TYCs for a while and they were decent. no glare to blind oncoming traffic, but not very effective light output considering what HIDs are capable of. (i.e. hotspots, dull cutoff etc.)

retrofitted some bi-xenon lenses in there.
low beam is very nice and crisp and high beam you=blind

I've seen a lot of pictures of aftermarket HIDs even in OEM non-HID projectors, and they always have glare. OEM 94-01 Integra headlights have decent projectors, and they still glare like hell.
