a DX distributor wont work in a Si will it?

Default a DX distributor wont work in a Si will it?

normally i would think this is a stupid question but i was lookin at a DX dizzy today and it has all the wiring that the Si has (7 wire plug and the DX's have 5 right??)....

5/7...add the wires and you got an si dist.

hmm, I thought internally the dx distributors was differnt? especially because it didnt have the pickup for the injector pulse on the shaft?

could be wrong though..

the shaft only has one loby thing on it in a dx distro where as the Si has too. the dx distrocould be turned into a Si one with multiple parts including a Si shaft and gearthingy and all sensors.
