how about something less extrim ? something like a "next best thing" to solid rear end.

is the exsisting IRS setup modified( remove UCA, weld in beam between trailing arms, custom trailing arm bushing setup seems like it would work to me) or fab a completly new design.

and if you have to fab a beam do you need to modify the mounting point on the chassis?? or use where the trailing arm bushing mounts??

Really for a street car get some Skunk rear drag springs and some quality Konis or similar,LSD,front urethane bushings, traction bars and run slicks.You have to make compromises for street driving but that should be enough for solid 1.7's and the rest will rely on hp to overcome physics :P
