The #3 cylinder doesn't seem to be firing, it is on a dohc zc....we pulled the spark plug and we have spark, but the exhaust port is majorly wet and it sounds like a harley

we got the singal wire for that injector from the red off of the main injector

any ideas?

 

you sure the injector is good? it may be stuck open... Swap the 2 & 3 injectors and see if 2 won't fire then...

 

you say its not firing but when u pull out the wire it sparks? i dont get it? if u have spark and fuel i dont see what the problem is. like jung4g said check the injector. might be fucked or check your wiring to the injectors

 

NATE YOU FORGOT TO MENTION that smoke was coming out of the TB...

Anyways... I talked several people at work about the problem they are thinking a valve is stuck... they said we could test by doing a compression test.... so if you have your tool bring that with you when you come down on sat.

BTW the party last night was pretty cool... I got real wasted by like 10pm!

 

there are no check engine lights,

we pulled the spark plug and tested it and it had spark.

if it was a valve, we would hear it.

this motor and seutp was perfectly good running and all of that about a month ago.

im thinkin iti s just a wiring issue.
