DPFI to MPFI questions?
As most of you know im trying to put a 91 si engine to a 90 dx. ok first things first:
1) i extended the wires and switched the two for the tps.
2) next i have two plugs left over from the sensors one is green and the other is brown , i am assuming those are the two fuel injector plugs, right.
3) Am i wrong or is the dx distributer plug different from the si dizzy cuz the are two totally different plugs all together, what do i do? please any help would be greatly appriecated. sorry about the spelling

i dunno about your first 2 questions, but i know for sure you need an si distributor because it has a crank angle sensor.....and i have a friend who needs a dx distributor....how much you want for yours he needs it like overnighted....pm me...

Re:DPFI to MPFI questions?
Looks like the two injector plugs....you I used them both for the injectors....when you go back to the ECU plugs you can see the ine is conected to A1 and A3 and the other is connected to A5 and A7...I justcut of A3 and A7...I reused the old injector wires for A1 and A5 extended them to the resistorbox and extended A3 and A7 from the ECU to the resistor box. If you have a shop manual you wouldn't be asking these questions though...I kinda improvised some of the stuff. I don't know about your dx dizzy...I had OBD1 connectors in my engine bay so I just got the dizzy plugs from the D16A6 harnass and soldered the extra wires to the plugs and the other wires that were connected to the DX plugs i just pulled them out and pressed them in the Si plugs...for a clean look(didn't have to cut or solder anything). By looking in the shop manual you will know which wire is for which device....the yellow/blk wires are always +12 volt.

Re:DPFI to MPFI questions?
The two extra wires on the dizzy are for the crank angle sensor i believe. Not exactly sure if that name was right, but they go to c1 and c2 on your wiring harness at the ecu. Also i believe you have to swith wires c1 and c3 from the dx harness to b10 and b12 on your mpfi ecu. I'm not sure if these are right, so check into it more, but hope this helps. Good luck!
