Default dpfi to mpfi (no start)

We just got done swapping an a6 into a dx and there is no spark at all. I did the wiring for the dpfi to mpfi and I am pretty confident that it is right. I had to swap plugs on the distributer because they were different but, I just matched colors and they all match up exept for 2 white wires I didn't know witch way they go. Also there were two left over wich are the crank angle sensor. Is there something that we forgot to plug in maybr? We also tryed another dissy and the same resault.

Someone suggested that I have the two wires reversed on the crank angle sensor in the distributer but I do't see how this would cause no spark.

if its the 2 white wires going to the 7 wires at the dist yes it makes a huge difference car will not run without them or if they are crossed

I tryed switching the 2 white wires and it still had no spark. Would the two extra wires that I had to add on the dissy cause no spark?

What do you mean "wires that you added to the dizzy" You should have already had the wires on the dizzy, you just had to extend them to the ecu and do the proper connections there? Did you make the proper connections at the ecu? The two white wires being reversed is usually the cause of a no start condition when you do that swap. It's not rocket-scientistry :P

" Also there were two left over wich are the crank angle sensor" You should have connected 2 wires from the ecu to them they shouldnt be left over. Let us know if u did or have them just sitting there.

Yes, I switched the 5 pin connector for a 7 pin and hooked up the crank angle sensor. I forgot to switch the wires on the tps and now I have spark but it seems weak it will jump the plug but it won't jump from the wire to ground and it still won't start. Aslo I have tryed a couple distributers. My freind just desided to use an entire si harness in his car but, I'm not helping with that.
