Intake manifold ports - Question

Default Intake manifold ports - Question

I want to clean all of the crap out of my ports, i was just wondering if the finish inside is important.

If i use a dremel with a grinding bit will it be ok (we small scores inside)

You dont want it polished or anything, A little disturbance in the airflow creats better fuel atomization. Use some coarse sandpaper to finish it off.

ghetto- your right, I dont know if it would help any. All im saying is if your dremeling with some shitty bit and leaving gouges in the runners you should clean it up with sandpaper to finish it up.

....sea foam..... I actually shined my light down the spark plug hole one day after treating my engine with sea foam and saw the piston numbering on my old d16z6...it had 102k miles on it
